What if my verification is rejected?
What to do if your identity verification is declined.
If your verification is rejected, you'll receive an email explaining the reason. Common reasons include:
- ID is expired
- Name on the ID doesn't match the account name
- Photo quality was too low to confirm the ID details
- Liveness check failed (the selfie didn't match the ID photo)
You can re-submit verification after correcting the issue. Make sure your ID photos are taken in good lighting against a dark background, and that all four corners of the ID are visible.
