How do I enable two-factor authentication?
Setting up 2FA to protect your GatSwap account.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second layer of security to your account. Even if your password is compromised, an attacker cannot log in without your second factor.
- 1Go to Profile → Security → Two-Factor Authentication.
- 2Tap 'Enable 2FA.'
- 3Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password).
- 4Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app to confirm setup.
- 5Save your backup codes in a secure location.
GatSwap strongly recommends enabling 2FA, especially if your account has completed trades or contains personal information.
