If a trade goes sideways, GatSwap's dispute team steps in. You can open a dispute from any active or recently completed trade by tapping 'Open Dispute.'

The dispute process

1. 1Submit your dispute with details and any supporting evidence (photos, messages).
2. 2The other party is notified and given 48 hours to respond.
3. 3GatSwap's dispute team reviews both sides and any FFL documentation.
4. 4A resolution is issued — this may include a refund, forced return of firearm, or other remediation.

GatSwap's decision is binding per the Terms of Service. For complex disputes involving potential legal violations, the team may involve legal counsel or law enforcement.
