How does GatSwap prevent fraud?
The systems GatSwap uses to detect and prevent fraud.
GatSwap has several layers of fraud prevention built into the platform:
- Identity verification: Every trading user is KYC verified, making anonymous fraud much harder.
- AI image moderation: Listing photos are analyzed for stock images, illegal modifications, and inconsistencies.
- Message monitoring: In-app messages are scanned for patterns consistent with fraud (off-platform deal attempts, etc.).
- FFL verification: All FFLs are verified against ATF records before being added to the network.
- Escrow for boot payments: Cash doesn't move directly between parties — it's held until both transfers confirm.
If you're ever asked to complete a deal outside of GatSwap, that's a red flag. All legitimate GatSwap trades go through the app's structured flow.
