What happens when I report something?
How GatSwap handles reports from users.
Every report is reviewed by the Trust & Safety team. Here's what happens:
- 1The report is logged and categorized by severity.
- 2Content (listings, messages) is temporarily hidden pending review for high-severity reports.
- 3A T&S team member reviews the report, the user's account history, and any associated trades.
- 4Action is taken: warning, listing removal, trade suspension, or account ban.
- 5The reporting user is notified of the outcome (though specific actions on the reported account may not be disclosed for privacy reasons).
False reports submitted in bad faith (e.g., to harm a competitor) may result in action against the reporting account.
