Can I cancel a trade?
When and how you can cancel a trade on GatSwap.
You can cancel a trade at any point before firearms have been shipped to the FFL. Once a firearm is in transit, cancellation requires coordination with the FFL and may incur a return shipping fee.
Before shipping
Open the trade in-app, tap 'Trade Options,' and select 'Cancel Trade.' Both parties will be notified and the listings will be returned to active status. No fees apply.
After shipping
Contact GatSwap support with your trade ID. The team will coordinate with the FFL to have firearms returned to their respective owners. Return shipping is the responsibility of the party who initiated the cancellation, unless the other party agreed to the cancellation.
Repeated cancellations after shipping will be noted on your account and may affect your trading reputation score.
