How GatSwap protects both parties in a trade.
GatSwap's protection policy covers trades that go through the full GatSwap flow — from in-app agreement through FFL transfer. It does not cover deals made outside the platform.
What's covered
- Firearm significantly misrepresented in the listing (wrong model, hidden damage not in photos)
- Boot payment not received after firearm is shipped
- FFL confirms firearm arrived damaged and seller disputes the claim
What's not covered
- Normal wear not disclosed but not unusual for the condition grade
- Value disagreements after a trade is complete
- Deals agreed upon outside the GatSwap platform
