What is a trade proposal?

A trade proposal is a formal offer to swap your firearm for someone else's. It includes which of your listings you're offering, which of their listings you want, and any cash difference (boot) you're proposing.
The other party can accept, decline, or counter your proposal. All proposals expire after 72 hours if not acted on.
What happens after acceptance?
Once both parties accept, the trade moves into the active phase: FFL selection, shipping, and transfer. Neither party can make offers on the same items to other users while a trade proposal is active.
