How do I pay the FFL transfer fee?
How FFL transfer fees are handled.
FFL transfer fees are paid directly to the FFL dealer at the time of pickup — not through GatSwap. Each party pays their own FFL's transfer fee.
Contact your chosen FFL in advance to confirm their accepted payment methods. Most accept cash and major credit/debit cards. Some smaller dealers are cash only.
GatSwap partner FFLs have their transfer fee listed in the app. Always confirm the fee before completing trade setup to avoid surprises.
